As you ramble
on through life, children,
whatever be your goal;
keep your eye upon the donut
and not upon the hole.
°
“ Do unto others and then cut out”,
is not the Golden Rule.
Use the one they teach you
in your Sunday school.
*
Love and learning, work and play
is a good life at its core.
Add some dreams and a little luck,
and you'll need nothing more.
*
Be protective of your body,
your mind and your soul
Try to keep them pure because
pollution takes its toll
*
Be intellectually courageous,
be congenial and have fun.
And even then my child, you'll find,
you won't please everyone.
